ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my ECHO Paintings - Eyes Closed Hands Open - a process I invented, of finger painting with my eyes closed. For a VIDEO of my ECHO Painting process, go to: https://www.youtube.com/ This piece has the added element of found and painted papers - including newspaper images of the capitol insurrectionists - all added during a long session where my eyes were never opened. Pigments are listed on the back of the piece along with the music (for this one I listened to tango music by Fernando Otero) along with my signature. This is an act of trust which I have been practicing since the covid lockdown began in 2020.
