ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This portrait is inspired by a song, 'When I see you smile' from Bad English. You see a teenage girl, blond hair, light skin, wearing a white - green striped hooded shirt. Her eyes shut down, peacefully aware of the halo surrounding her. A magical light seems to come from beyond, enlightening her young face. A figure standing in the middle of a large background, with gray softly turning into ultramarine blue. One phrase the artist remembers from viewers is that the artwork 'moves' people and they don't know why... The painting is painted on all sides, acrylic on linen, ready to hang.
