A view from opulence is a collection of memories, those moments we pass by without a second glance, each one fleeting, disappearing into the night or onto the road or simply passing by. My goal is to capture these moments that we give away so frivolously and save them. Capturing time on a canvas lik...

What can I say, I am me. In this world of the mundane and self consumed, there must exist (a person) to cherish the forgotten things. I look around me every single day and all I see are these forgotten pieces of the world, we spend so much of our time with our nose in the phone or on a screen or laughing at these carefully curated jokes that have no more organic resonance than that meal you bought at that long forgotten chain restaurant that somehow taste exactly the same as every other thing you’ve ever tasted. Maybe I’m insane for wanting to do this, but I don’t ever want my work to be mass produced, I don’t want “prints” of my work, it feels like trying to photograph a soul. I want to create art that everyone can own (at every price point) from $100,000 painting that could have taken me six months to complete, to a $200 sketch I did in an emotional trance in the middle of the night, I want art that someone will buy and truly cherish in the same way I do! If you’re interested in this crazy experiment that I’m attempting then by all means, join me! after all what have we got to lose?
