Currently based out of the Pacific Northwest, Lucinda Gallier primarily works in acrylic on linen. As a lifelong musician and painter, Gallier has been featured in nationally public broadcasts and has contributed to numerous scholarly projects devoted to the synesthetic experience, such as Mirror-Touch, Empathy and Art from the Ruskin School of Art at the University of Oxford, 2014, while also consulting for visual/spatial/audio tech firms devoted to creating immersive experiences while her commissioned works reside in private collections around the world. Gallier’s influences are multifaceted and span from archaeological, historical and technological realms to everyday nuances within movement, memory, touch, and sound.
