Surprisingly, I embarked on my creative journey during the pandemic, learning about watercolor through books and videos. Fueled by a profound love for animals, my artwork aims to create an immersive experience where the subject is not merely observed but genuinely seen, fostering a connection that unites humans and animals in a shared moment of recognition and understanding. I think I chose to focus my artwork on this one experience because when I was young, I preferred the company of animals to navigating human social scenes. In their companionship, I found solace, unconditional love, and acceptance. My artwork serves as a heartfelt tribute to their presence in my life, celebrating their grace, beauty, and distinctive personalities.
