The painting, which I created especially for an art exhibition, is an impressive homage to Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and it wonderfully embodies the multi-layered meaning of the colour red. In art, red often stands for strong emotions such as love, eroticism, heat, but also for violence and aggression. In my work, however, the colour radiates an inviting warmth that casts a spell over the viewer. Aphrodite, depicted in a moment of affection, gives the viewer a kiss. This gesture is not only an expression of love, but also an invitation to reflect on one's own emotionality and the various facets of love. Her dark green dress, which symbolises the sea foam from which she was born according to mythology, connects her with nature and the origin of life. This connection to nature reinforces the idea that love and beauty come from the deepest and most primal sources. The combination of the warm radiance of the image and the powerful symbolism of Aphrodite creates an atmosphere that is both calming and energising. It invites the viewer to reflect on the different dimensions of love - from passionate to gentle affection. Your work is therefore not only a depiction of a mythological figure, but also a profound reflection on the meaning of love in all its facets.

GABRIELE LUISE KOCH Gabrielle is a multitalented artist in painting and graphic design Description of her projects: Fragments of psychology permeate her entire work of art like a delicate veil and dominate her own visual language. Her identical portraits do not only show beauty, but also go into the psychological depth of each portrait subject. That is what makes them so unmistakable. The enigmatic pictorial worlds of Gabrielle Luise Koch are in a peculiar way radically modern and timeless at the same time. On the one hand, one sees contemporary subjects, on the other hand, her actors seem to come from myths, legends and allegories. The fact that this tightrope walk succeeds again and again is based on the unusual techniques of the creation of pictures. During her graphic and painting studies, she trained her eyes and her craft very well with regard to the choice of motifs, themes and the expressive composition of a picture. In her artwork, the psychological sensitivity of the artist and her enormous ability to skilfully bring the stories of the pictures onto the image carrier are particularly evident. This magic could captivate the viewer.... Her art expresses a clear, clean art style. The oil paint is her favorite tool. Nevertheless, she experiments with different media and materials. This results in a wide spectrum of artworks ranging from Figurative, Portraiture, Photorealism, Surrealism, Abstractism. Represented in private collections in Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Leipzig, Great Britain, Netherlands, Austria,Luxembourg. For more information please contact: curator@saatchiart.com
