ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting on premium quality linen with an aluminium frame I made almost dancing. The beautiful voice of Frances Peruquois inspired me to make her song visible. I used parts of a shawl that I once bought in Africa, to visualize the snake. In this painting I see the snake as a creator of emotional, fysical, mental and spiritual healing, driven by the awareness of men and women being equal powerful, once they are united.

To me, painting is the most delightful way of expressing what I cannot say in words. My art captures the moments of grace when I experience the true equality of my inner self with natures phenomenons around me, unity of soul with my fellow creatures. This way the imperceptible is being shaped. Whenever I work abstract, I paint the experience, the new energy that came to be after this connection and so make that what can not be percieved figurative. Colours represent energies, show depths , determine the timbre.
