My name is Revathi, and I create under the name Versesculptor. I specialize in transforming the profound beauty of Qur'anic verses into stunning wall sculptures, using joint compound as my primary medium. My journey as an artist began with a deep fascination for the spiritual and aesthetic dimensions of Islamic art. As a self-taught wall sculptor, I have dedicated mayself to exploring teh intricate relationship between sacred texts and visual art. My work is a reflection of my personal quest to bring the timeless wisdom of Qur'anic verses into contemporary living spaces. Each piece I create is a meticulous blend of traditional techniques and modern artistic expression. I start with a careful selection of verses that resonate deeply with the themes of peace, wisdom, and reflection. I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed establishments such as Woodpecker Cafe, where I created a unique coffee cup design that melds art with daily life. My work has been showcased in various exhibitions, and i continue to seek opportunities to share my art with a wider audience. What sets my work apart is the blend of reverence for the sacred amd a contemporary artistic vision. My studio, Arteology, is a sanctuary where creativity and spirituality converge, allowing me to produce pieces that are both meaningful and visually striking.
