ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Abstract Infusion is a vibrant and dynamic visual explosion that evokes an array of emotions and thoughts. The canvas pulsates with a kaleidoscope of colors, with hues ranging from rich magentas and fiery oranges to soothing aquas and deep blues. The interplay of these colours creates a sense of movement and energy, drawing the viewer into the swirling depths of the composition. The texture in the piece is particularly striking. The layering of paint, possibly applied using a palette knife or through impasto techniques, adds a tactile dimension to the work. This texture not only gives the painting a physical presence but also enhances the sense of depth and complexity within the abstract forms. The variation in brushstrokes—from coarse and rough to soft and blended—contributes to the overall dynamism of the piece. One of the strengths of this artwork lies in its ability to balance chaos and harmony. Despite the apparent randomness of the strokes and the bold juxtaposition of colors, there is a cohesive rhythm that unifies the composition. This balance creates a tension that is both captivating and thought-provoking, allowing each viewer to interpret the piece through their own lens of experiences and emotions. The luminous quality at the center of the canvas suggests a focal point, drawing the eye inward. This central light, surrounded by more vivid and darker tones, creates a contrast that can symbolize a myriad of themes—perhaps the emergence of clarity from confusion or the birth of hope within turmoil. The sides have been painted so you have the look of the painting wrapping around the stretcher bars. It comes delivered to your door and is ready to hang on your wall.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Born in Adelaide in 1971, my childhood consisted of bohemian treks around Australia with my parents; “The stark light and vivid colours of nature were my initial inspirations.” Still life has been my primary source of inspiration since the age of 9, completing my first oil painting with my mother in her art studio. To see how far and how detailed my paintings have become is the reason why I continue to paint all genres. My longtime passion is represented in each collection of artwork. My art merges the imagination and the traditional. I get inspiration from modern day and the classic painters for their stunning use of lively contrast between a dark background and vibrant color in the forward. To achieve this mix I use the consistency and texture of acrylic. I don't follow any one path. In the beginning I intuitively create my abstract arrangements of light, shape, and color aiming to create something new and vibrant that people can live with and look at with increasing pleasure. I move forward in an unseen order, a rhythm and a surprise.
