Abstract Piano Keys Painting

Izzy Anderson is a self-taught artist that began creating artwork for herself. When she moved to San Antonio, her colleagues enjoyed her artwork and began making requests. Now her artwork has become a small business with a few requests a week. Her artwork focuses on musical themes but she likes to create anything bright and colorful. She currently studies art with Charles Ingram. Izzy works with a non-profit called Grow with the Arts. As a volunteer, she helps get “The Arts” back into the schools. She is featured as both a piano teacher and as a visual artist. She is very excited to get involved with the schools and community to help spread both music and art. Izzy is the Artist-in-Resident for Longs Creek Elementary school. In February, Izzy taught over 150 elementary students how to paint Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” She also helps out with Longs Creek’s after school art club.
