Who did not look at the carpet on the wall before going to bed, he did not live in the 90s. In my new painting from the series "Childhood", I depicted details that are well known to everyone. I went to Omsk to study children's photos, and take the most interesting from them. What I associate with ...

Hi! My name is Elizaveta Pugacheva and I am from Russia. Since childhood, I loved to draw and couldn't imagine my life without a brush and palette. Since 2013, I began to successfully make paintings to order (mainly landscapes), until the turning point of 2020 happened: my workshop was closed, orders became less, I was at home for a long 5 months. This difficult time was the beginning of something new and "your own". One night during the period of self-isolation, I could not sleep, this happened to me for the first time - before my eyes there was an image of a picture and it was an abstract landscape. I spent the next day trying to figure out what to create. I was completely taken by the process - the thick acrylic paint flowing down, choosing its own direction, where I become just an observer. There were no rules, no expectations of what would happen in the end. There was no desire to do something that everyone would like. In a period of worldwide hysteria, restrictive laws and regulations, this became my outlet. I felt safe. This sense of security is conveyed in my abstract paintings: a warming ray of sun directed at the house, calm and peace in the place where you want to return. That's probably why, almost immediately, my paintings began to be bought. Buyers came from different sources, with different intentions. But what united them all was that the paintings attracted them for no particular reason and gave them pleasant emotions. So far, I don't have a lot of abstractions on my account, about 15 paintings, 9 of which have been sold.
