Born in Zagreb, Croatia (1985.) My creative process usually starts with a loose concept, an idea witch is transforming as I go with the flow. It´s all about process. I love working in many layers, adding and removing them until it comes to the point that says"that´s it". Building a painting, looking at how it evolves brings in me wide palette of emotions, from inner struggle to joy and extasy. It is a process of not only putting a color onto canvas but also an introspection and exploration. As the painting grows, the connection and communication establishes between me and the image, and finally with inner self witch painting reflects. What I like the most about abstracts is unpredictability and challenge. You never know what´s going to emerge, no matter how firm is the concept. I let the painting guide me as a tool to express myself. Possibilities are endless. I draw inspiration from nature, it´s shapes and forms, the way it feels, changes, transforms itself. In my paintings I am not trying to reproduce it, but rather bring an emotional reflection, a feeling or echo of a subject. Nature is the ultimate abstract artist! The artworks are done mainly with acrylics, sometimes combined with other media, like pastels, charcoal, gold pigment etc. I like to experiment with different techniques and possibilities. All artworks are handmade with love and care and one of a kind. Paintings are signed and dated by Author. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
