This artwork was painted by me by using mixmedia technique on canvas. In symbolism, the spiral reflects the cycle of birth, death and rebirth of nature, the stars, the milky way and ultimately human life. Spiritually, it represents the way to enlightenment, the return to one's essence and the way to cosmic awareness. However, while the tree is seen as a symbol of reaching and communicating with God in symbolism, also represents many meanings such as “life, vitality, immortality, fertility, luck, abundance, blessing, health”. With these emotions and symbolisms that inspired me in this work of art, I wanted to shape genuine calf leather and reflect it as the earth. However, you can see in details and feel in your emotions that the mountains, crater lakes, landforms which were created by texture technique with marble dust. Also deserts that I created with cracking technique, continents that I created with tree bark. The brown tones used in the artwork also represent mother earth.
