Yuliya Vladkovska is a Ukrainian-born contemporary oil painter based in Italy. Originally trained in mathematics, she transitioned to visual art, bringing analytical structure into her painterly practice. Her work centers on figurative oil painting and explores artificial and natural patterns, systems of perception, and the subtle structures that shape visual meaning. Through meticulous composition, she constructs layered surfaces where color, light, and reflection are calibrated with technical precision and structural clarity. Initially rooted in gestural abstract expressionism, Yuliya Vladkovska has progressively refined her language toward a deliberate and technically rigorous approach. Moving away from acrylic and spontaneous mark-making, she now works primarily in oil, developing a figurative vocabulary grounded in material depth, compositional control, and perceptual inquiry. Her works are held in private collections across Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Qatar, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2021, she was named a Best Selling Artist by Singulart. One painting is scheduled to enter the permanent collection of the Museo d’arte contemporanea di Luzzana – Donazione Gaini Meli (Italy). She is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti G. Carrara in Bergamo, where she is developing a research-based thesis examining co-creation and the ways singular aesthetic decisions influence perception, cultural resonance, and artistic value.
