Paweł Górski is a Polish painter, illustrator and an interior designer. He was born in 1955 in Lublin, Poland. He graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. He has drew and painted from his early age. His paintings are most abstract and full of vivid colors. The sense of abstraction comes from the inspiration that he finds in his endless imagination and in every single thing around him: nature, people, travels, books and even in politics. Paweł's favorite technique is acrylic in encaustic wax. Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The liquid or paste is then applied to a surface. This technique was notably used in the Fayum mummy portraits from Egypt around 100–300 AD and in many works of 20th-century North American artists. Paweł has been using encaustic wax technique in his paintings since the year of 1980. Paweł is also an interior designer. He has worked in this profession for over 20 years. In 2016 he returned to painting. He lives and works in Zalesie Dolne, nearby Warsaw, Poland.
