Originally I started with one panel and wanted to do something very serene with a range of blue and green colors. I went to go varnish this piece before it was entirely dry and that is how I got the swipe. I ended up loving my accidental swipe and decided to do a second complimentary panel. The two panels next to each other almost seem to from from one into the other. It reminds me of a magical water version of space.
