This is the 19th century Ukrainian poet Kotlyarevsky’s book Aeneid. This is a humorous poem. The plot remained classic in it, but events take place in Ukraine and all the heroes are Ukrainians. The poem itself is taught in school. The illustrations and design of the book was created by a wonderful artist Bazilevich. This is a cult book in my childhood. Now few people know and remember about it. This is a work from the series “Things that disappear”. Things filled with meaning, with which memories and feelings are associated, disappear, become obsolete. It's like portraits of people whom you have not seen for a long time and are unlikely to see again. Portrait of a thing as an old icon. Linen fine-grained canvas. Gallery stretching canvas. Modular handmade natural wood subframe. St. Petersburg paints "Ladoga", "Master Class", Dutch paints "Art Creation" and "Amsterdam".

For me the main thing in painting - is the creation of the atmosphere, optimistic, easy mood with anticipation of happiness, mystery. For me is very important color, meditation composition and dynamic smear. I paint something that I have personal feelings, memories. I try to find beauty and mystery in the ordinary.
