I’m a contemporary abstract painter who currently lives in St. Petersburg FL after many years in Los Angeles, CA. I began my art career as a scenic artist and decorative painter in LA where I painted sets for TV and film and also the homes of many well-known (and not well-known) folks. I did this work for 20+ years. My work has been featured on the sets of 100+ TV shows. I also have 500ish images licensed for the home decor and hospitality industries. A lot of my abstract paintings have ended up in Florida with collectors and hotels so when my gypsy soul was longing for another adventure, I decided to move cross country and make a go of it in this part of the US. What I love about St Pete is that it feels like a mix of a few places I’ve lived before. It has the tropical lifestyle I loved in Hawaii, the breweries I loved in Portland and an art scene that feels fresh and well integrated into the community like Los Angeles and Santa Fe. And the murals here, whoa. Hurricanes, sunsets, tropical foliage are now part of my artistic musings.
