This painting was i spired by the first ayah of surah al Qalam "ن ۚ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ" This can be translated as: "Nun. By the pen and what they inscribe," In this verse, the mention of the pen (al-qalam) signifies the importance of knowledge and writing. The pen is a symbol of recording and preserving knowledge, indicating the significance of learning and education in Islam. This verse was inspired by the first ayah of Surah-Al recounts the story of the people of the garden (Ashab al-Jannah) who were punished for their arrogance and ingratitude.
