About The Artwork

This painting is part of a series of works on the theme of 'Looking through' The painting is inspired by a photograph I took at The Alhambra Palace in Grenada Spain. Here, I have used complementary colours to depict the interlocking archways of this fantastic palace. I have also stencilled on the pattern from tiles also found in in the Alhambra. The colours are not realistic but a study of how colour can make the flat surface come alive. I also have used the illusion of space with perspective which too enhances the sense of depth.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

At present I am working on creating depth and illusion of space in my work. The empty interior spaces were created in lockdown and symbolise the feelings of entrapment and isolation felt by many. The images are real places always empty always waiting for something to happen.
