ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As an artist, this platform gives me the space to interrogate my own self, my thoughts and my surrounding. This was painted during a difficult period where I was overwhelmed with having no space to switch off. It captures the feeling of needing to have your shit together, while the world is distracting you and pushing you to free-fall. It’s about the feeling of having to do it all, without the capacity or space to do this. It’s about resilience and strength when you feel there is none.
