The artist does not intend to offend people of color or anyone victimized by the Klan or other white supremacists groups. The paintings are prompted out of alarm, disgust and dread that these hate driven groups are once are again ascending. At the protests in Charlottesville a 32 year old woman Heather Heyer was killed by a white nationalist for standing up justice. This is someone wearing their ideology, masking their identity while revealing who they really are.
