I have been painting for 16 years and, as a Buddhist teacher, I undertook to convey the meditative experience inherent in Buddhist art with my paintings and courses. "For me, it is not just about the passion of creation, but about exploring and understanding the symbols of Tibetan Buddhism so that the Doctrine of Buddhism can unfold through artistic creation and it can reach others as well. I connects Buddhist teachings and practice in thangka painting." My first encountered with thangka painting when I was 13 years old. I've learned painting in the Hungarian Secondary School of Visual Arts. In 2011 I did take refuge in Beru Khyentse Rinpoche and then continued my studies at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College. I practiced in a self-taught way from 2015, and then in 2019 I had been studying under the guidance of Master Lochoe and dr. Sarika Singh in Dhamashala in 2022, where I obtained my MSc degree, which I wrote on the subject of Russian icon painting and Tibetan Buddhist painting. Thangkas are canvas-painted, rolled-up images what help you to get over in various troubles and sink into the meditation. They can depict various buddhas, bodhisattvas, peaceful and wrathful deities, teachers, mandalas, and the life of the Buddha. Pillars of consciousness that always remind the Buddhist practitioner of the their own buddha nature. The Thangka Project undertakes to pass on the basics of thangka painting to those who want to immerse themselves in Buddhist teachings in a practical way.
