Painter; Lives & Works in Seoul, Korea. She has participated in 10 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions, and has gained diverse experiances through art fairs and artist residence programs. She is currently painting on the theme of 'regulating the mind and finding a point of balance'. artist statement I am interested in the moment of achieving a psychological balance amidst anxiety. I endeavor to control my negative emotions like anxiety, solitude, anger, sorrow, and restore the balance of mind. Various objects and landscapes in my works create the imaginary world that projects one’s inner desire and anxiety. The objects retain an unsteady balance in a contradictory situation. This represents a desire to reconstruct the reality rather than that escape from it. Also, it simultaneously shows the imbalance and anxiety that prevails modern society and the artist’s continuous effort to find a balance in the chaos. The author's interpretation of landscape illustrates the effort to find a balance in mind, and a message for empathy and coexistence with others in peace by finding this balance. Through this landscape, I wanted to show a peaceful and calm state of mind by finding a balance.
