Ancient Dreams Painting

"Ancient Dreams" is a story about a highly advanced civilization that was lost forever when it was swept into the sea. The piece is filled with intense colors and dream-like imagery that takes us to a mysterious level. It also features mirage structures that are both captivating and enchanting. The piece is a starting point for thoughts on what ancient civilizations could be like. I began working on this piece without any preconceived notions of where it would go. There is something magical about spontaneous painting, as I only have limited control over what comes out - the rest is left to serendipity. I build up layers using various techniques, each with large windows, so that the final image is a collage of textures. ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished black edges and comes ready to hang. "Ancient Dreams" was created by the end of autumn 2014 at the Otherworldly Dream Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Second Silence": The "Second Silence" series is deeply connected to the man in nature, as its predecessor. However, it is more vibrant and intense in color than "First Silence," yet still maintains the hypnotic, dream-like quality of the earlier works. The landscapes are atmospheric and melancholic, effortlessly eliciting emotions. To shift the viewer's focus from the natural landscape, I have limited the familiarity of forms in the compositions. This approach invites the viewer to explore their own fantasies and imagination.
