This blue painted enhanced Ibex Amphora from Malqata Egypt circa 1390-1353 BC is one of the classic finds from the Amenhotep dig in Malqata Egypt. It shows the expertise of the ancient Egyptians from close to 4,000 years ago. I added GOLD LEAF to conceptualize a distressed look. This can be seen on the left and right images. The scattering of the grains of the gold leaf is intentional, as this medium is difficult to mold, much less apply to curving applications. This classic is perfect for the study, office, formal dining, formal living or anywhere one would like a classic contrast to today's modernism. It can surely be an active topic of conversation It will surely make for a good conversation piece.
