This original painting with it's intriguing mark making and vibrant palette of rich warm tones, is the perfect statement piece for a large space. I love working on a large scale creating these big beauty's for others to enjoy... Influenced by the work of masters such as Cy Twombly, Monet, Turner and Rothko, I bring all that I love about their work and add my touch of optimism for the future, which I draw from quiet time spent studying the light and tonal fusion in nature. This positive original artwork is acrylic on canvas has been stretched on a high quality hardwood stretcher and framed in a gloss white wooden frame. It is initialled on the front CH., with full signature and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity. Please note any in situ images of this artwork is to offer decor and installation examples only and is not to exact scale, so please check the dimensions before purchasing.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences good times and bad. I begin with a feeling and end wherever the music and the paint takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling." Cheryl ~ A practising professional artist since the 1990’s; Cheryl has amassed a long list of collectors around the world along with solo exhibitions from galleries on the Strand in London, Cambridge and in Cornwall at Truro, St.Ives and Penzance. In the south of the UK is where she lived and immersed herself for five years amongst some of the last of the great post modern British artists such as Sandra Blow, Terry Frost and Barry Cooke. Since returning to Australia, Cheryl has completed her Masters in Visual Arts at the Queensland College of Arts at the Griffith University Campus in Brisbane and has gone on to solo exhibits in public and private galleries in Brisbane, Cairns and Port Douglas. Cheryls studio is based in Port Douglas, tropical Far North Queensland, where she loves creating each day alongside her talented husband 'Pez Art' also an abstract painter on Saatchi Art.
