ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In my childhood town in Kapuskasing, there was this hill beside an outdoor rink where my family and I would go sliding. We would spend hours sliding down, running back up the hill, and sliding down again. I had these hand-me-down boots that I just loved because I could slide down standing up as if I was snowboarding. I thought they were the coolest.
