"Passion without precision is chaos"
For the last couple of years I've been working on a series of monumental portraits of teenage girls.
I call them "Pale Girls" because of my preference for painting light skinned models. With their transparent and delicate skins they represent the secretive and elusive world of girls between child and women. The emotion on the faces of these more than life-sized portraits is not forceful or
loudly but quiet and introverted which is enhanced by the static and classical pose.
