ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Anthozoa is an acrylic painting from "organic forms" series (inspired by flora and underwater faun). Anthozoa is a subphylum of marine invertebrates which includes the sea anemones, stony corals and soft corals. Adult anthozoans are almost all attached to the seabed, while their larvae can disperse as part of the plankton. The painting was created in many sessions to make sure that the layers created before dired up before painting another one. Thin layer of neon pink that mixed it self with deep hue cadmium yellow created here a filter-like effect. Indygo on the other hand has very visible ripples that were created with stron bursts of air.

Weronika Aaron Dyląg (1987, born in Nakło nad Notecią) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Warsaw, known for her exceptional graphic design work and her passion for painting. Her transition into the world of painting five years ago allowed her to explore a new medium to express her artistic vision. Dyląg's graphic design background is evident in her early paintings, which are imbued with strong compositions and a sharp sense of color theory. Her curiosity in psychology and social interactions influences her art, and she firmly believes in the power of positive emotions to maintain mental well-being. Consequently, her paintings reflect a vibrant and uplifting color palette. In 2021, Dyląg expanded her creative horizons and delved into the world of acrylic painting. She has been experimenting with various acrylic mediums and paint ratios to create unique and mesmerizing effects. In particular, Dyląg has discovered a love for blowing paint with air, an unconventional technique that adds an ethereal quality to her work, allowing her to push the boundaries of traditional painting techniques.
