ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have always been inspired by the landscape that surrounds me. Whether it be a sub-zero winter morning or a sweltering summer afternoon, I am on site, painting. I try to capture not only the visual aspects of the landscape, but also the physical and emotional sensations it gives me...Appelbaum III was painted on a sweltering July afternoon, and I could smell the voluptuous ripening of the fruit...I hope that my viewers will experience the same. Oil paint has always been my medium of choice. The linen that it was painted on lends itself to a much longer life-span of the work. The painting is professionally framed, and "Ready to Hang". Framed Dimensions: 52.5 x 40.5". Each piece of artwork that I have created comes signed and dated, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
