Koraljka Polaček was born in Zagreb, Croatia, in the family of artists. In 1991, she enrolled into the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, graduated in 1998 in the class of professor Eugen Kokot. While still attending the Academy, Koraljka started exhibiting her paintings in collective and individual exhibitions, as well as taking part in art colonies and art/humanitarian projects. By now, she had 44 solo exhibitions of her paintings. After graduating from the Academy, she was teaching Art in Zagreb (1998-2007) and later on the island of Cres (2019-2023). Koraljka moved to the City of Rijeka in 2023, to become a full-time artist. Her paintings are part of private collections in Croatia and abroad.
