About The Artwork

Inspired by my time in the military where I was exposed to a world centred on human conflict and aggression, where lethal violence and destruction was desensitised and sometimes even celebrated. One particularly confusing moment was on my last deployment when I stood back and saw beauty in the chaos; watching fighter jets fly overhead and listening to the explosions in the distance. I suppose even destruction can be beautiful in its own twisted way. This piece was a commission for a local startup in Melbourne, Australia.
