About The Artwork
Collection 'White on white. Waiting for a winter' was created in autumn 2019. Why white? Well, our world in Russian often called 'white world', a good person is a bright person (translated into Russian as 'light/white person'). White color is a color of purity, integrity, spirituality. It awakens bright feelings and causes a disposition. The entire collection is made in a positive state and in a desire to cheer up everyone who looks at the works. White color in the interior increases the space and illumination of the room. The painting has a conditional name. It is for contemplation and imagination.The viewer is invited to engage in the fantasy process himself, see his images, come up with the meaning of the work he liked and judge it in his own way. Make this painting your friend. A harmonious combination of geometric shapes, lines of flat and three-dimensional, biomorphic figures is a game with white color and its midtones. A few years ago my life pace became slower and I suddenly saw the world in other colors. It was the craving for color and its combinations that caused an irresistible desire to paint. Why abstraction? Because it is the freedom of thought, movement, image of emotions, impressions. And before that I had the enterprise for tailoring light women's clothing, which I organized in 1991. For 20 years, the artist was satisfied with her pride, launching into production the models I had invented. My education is secondary, I did not upload universities. I live since 1960. Not loaded with stamps and conventions. I like to experiment. Always on the lookout for new things. Today, having taken place as a production worker and a clothing artist, I want to enjoy the pleasure of practicing abstract painting and please the audience and lovers of fine art with this. Nowadays I'm the member of the Union of Abstracts of Russia .
