ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Introducing my latest artwork, ‘Qalb ||’ - A depiction of the 99 names of Allah. This piece holds a special place in my heart as I poured my heart and soul into it. One of my most beloved projects was a 9ft tall and 3ft wide painting I created for a mosque in Karachi, Pakistan. The piece featured a stunning gold leaf background adorned with black and maroon calligraphy, which garnered an outpouring of love and appreciation. The response was so overwhelming that I received numerous orders for similar pieces, which led me to conceive of a new artwork featuring the 99 names of Allah. Inspired by the black and gold theme of the Holy Kaaba, I sought to create a masterpiece that would pay homage to His beautiful names. The artwork features a textured depiction of the Kaaba against a background of gold leaf, keeping the overall look simple, minimal and readable, while exuding elegance and reverence. I wanted to create a piece that embodies a sense of decency and spirituality through Allah’s divine names. ❤️
