Aspen Memory was created in Aspen during an artist residency and through the mixed media captures the natural elements that I saw each day on my walk into the studio. Aspen and most of Colorado has a gorgeous mix of mountains, trees, streams and architecture. I am inspired by what I see both the elements of nature, the built environment and the light and color

These abstract landscapes are based on maps, both real and imagined, and incorporate a wide variety of materials including nail polish, embroidery thread, crushed stone and reflective elements along with traditional oil and acrylic paint.
