Notably, Saintonge's exceptional skill and artistic vision have been acknowledged by the prestigious Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong. In 2022, one of her paintings found a permanent place in their esteemed collection, solidifying her status as a highly regarded artist. In addition to institutional recognition, Saintonge's art has captivated the hearts of numerous private collectors across the globe. Her works are cherished in collections spanning Hong Kong, Canada, USA, UK, France, Italy, Israel, and Indonesia. Born in Quebec, she studied fashion design in Montreal in the 70's. She chose children's clothing as a specialty and, a few decades later, reinvented herself by creating and running development centers in several Asian countries. For 30 years (1985-2015) Hong Kong became her permanent residence. As a teenager, Saintonge developed a passion for painting that never left her. Her career in the world of fashion makes her travel the world and she becomes a regular at museums and art galleries of the largest capitals; the driving force of her aspirations. In October 1996, LKF The Gallery of Hong Kong launches her first solo exhibition as a painter. "L’Enfant Terrible" inspired by a long stay in Mainland China for the promotion of her clothing collections, she presents a series of surreal portraits of Chinese children. In July 1997, during the ceremonies surrounding the retrocession of Hong Kong to China, Galerie Martini hosts her second exhibition: "The Handover Show" she presents together with the children portraits, a body of work featuring the symbols of the Chinese zodiac. Until 2001 Saintonge participated to the annual exhibitions of Galerie Martini "Salon d’Hiver". From 1997 to 2002, simultaneously with her fashion contracts, she created a painting workshop, where she passed on her passion to adults and children from 7 to 70 years old. In 2003, her contracts and frequent travel for fashion becoming too intense, she puts down her brushes and resumes painting in Indonesia in 2011. Since November 2015, Saintonge has been back in Canada and lives in Montreal where she devotes herself exclusively to her art.
