My name is Matthias Lück, I was born 1984 in Strausberg and grew up in Müncheberg. I made my first experiences in painting around 2003. I accompanied friends of mine into old buildings, mostly leftovers of the LPG and watched them spraying. Delighted with the way to bring life back into spaces that were uninhabited for decades. After initial attempts, I benefited from the fact that I have a solid basic crafting concept, so good results could be achieved relatively quickly. Added to that was the affirmation within the group and beyond, which is so eagerly sought after by every ego. When I get something new in my hands, I basically want to know how it works and where the limits are. The limits of the material or mine. Too often, I wanted to do something, and I had to admit at this point that I'm not ready yet, which only spurred me on to develop. When I began designing canvases around 2010, I was overwhelmed with the painting materials and the opportunities that resulted. I started making abstract canvases with relief-like structures and eternal backgrounds. Combined and obsessed and made my experiences. True to the motto: Every mistake leaves me knowledge and every stroke brings me on! Fortunately, nobody can tell me where to go. Now in 2018, several screens and other surfaces later, I have my own studio in Buckow. For a while I tried to be free from influences and wanted to focus on my style of design and to make it stand out. All nonsense.
