Julie Pelaez combines her conceptual Advertising background with a variety of mixed media to create feel-good abstract artworks centered on themes of human connection and empowerment. Her practice includes exhibitions, commissions, wallpaper design, corporate installations with Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, United Heritage Credit Union, and Kendra Scott, as well as print collaborations with national retailers such as Wexel Art, Four Hands Art Studio, Perigold and HomeGoods. She spent a decade as an Advertising Art Director in her first career, followed by a break for motherhood before becoming a full-time artist in 2017.
