ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

I love to observe this luminescence phenomenon which occurs at the polar zones. The auroras are very colorful and they can have very different shapes like spiral or rays of light. I get inspired by these events that I can express on my canvas with the colors and appearance which impress me the most.

Liliana Tries, nee Alem Born in Parana, Province of Entre Rios, Argentina , raised and educated in Buenos Aires. Lived in California and Germany between 1991-2006 and lives and works now in San Fernando, Buenos Aires Province. Visual artist. Started my artistic education in Germany with the sculptur Jorg Mazur in 2000. Since my return to Buenos Aires continued my artistic education with different art teachers but principally and for more than ten years with Sergio Boccaccio well known for his modern art work. Worked actively with the ¨Send a Child to School¨ and¨Arte Ayuda Foundation¨ engaged in art donations to hospitals. Organized art exhibitions in Carilo, Buenos Aires Province. My art work of today is focused on images which capture my attention and interest, converting and putting them on to the canvas, at times monochrome and others with plenty of colors. Work technique I work in principle with acrylic, a medium which allows me to experiment with color and texture. I tried various techniques with acrylic and other materials as they enable me to encounter the versatility I am looking for. My brush strokes capture the essence of the forms and images which inspire me , adding live to each piece of my work. My inspirations My art studio provides my fountain of inspiration. Objects and memories of my extended travels to different parts of the world continue to live with the images of my photos of such travels, moments and people I encountered. I work to capture the colors and the emotions which inspire me and then convert this emotion on to the canvas, always in company with corresponding music. Art books, visiting museums, art exhibitions, observation during my many travels have undoubtedly always been an important fountain of inspiration to me.
