ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Finally, Austria has its new government, a conservatice and green party coalition of all things. From previous experience we know that we have to paint the faces quickly, before their owners disappear into the depths of history once again. Although, this time it seems that the goverment might make it through a whole legislation period. The country desperately needs it! Watercolour is a medium ideally suited for quick portrait caricature sketches, which are one of my favourite fields of painting. This painting comes in an off-white mount.
