Autumn Calm Painting

Painting has always been an integral part of my life since the age of two when I first took the brush in my left hand. At the age of nine terrible things happened to me – I became seriously ill and as a result lost my central vision. My diagnosis is called macular degeneration. It is a disease that affects the retina and causes loss of central vision. My journey as an artist has become much more complicated, but my determination and desire to create have helped me to realize myself. Despite of the eye disorder I worked really hard – I studied fine arts on an equal basis with other students. I attended an art school, then a college and a university. My works have a very distinct style. My use of light and shades create a special atmosphere. You can find your personal meaning in each painting.
