About The Artwork
This is an autumn view of the river near my house. It is handled in a color field approach. I often paint the open and free view of this river south of Kyoto. I get inspiration from Bonnard, Vuillard, Japanese paintings,impressionists and then color field artists. It is painted on hand gesso top quality cotton paper. It would look fine mounted on board and placed in an antique gold or silver frame.
