Recently I have painted a few Autumn leaves still lifes, after I had visited Chaim Soutine exhibition in Jewish Museum, NY, last summer. Among others, there were some of his infamous still life paintings from private collections, that was not allowed to photograph and I could not find their images on internet either. However, it was such an inspiring experience, I felt I must painted those leaves, and as soon as the fabulous Canadian fall had came, I got myself busy gathering those branches with red and yellow leaves, made an arrangements with apple and painted them! vu'a la!
