Riffat Mujeeb was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. Her passion for drawing and painting started at a very young age. Her journey as an artist began when she won the first prize in a drawing competition at the age of six. She has worked with different mediums but oil on canvas is her favorite. She focuses on landscapes as a primary motif. Nature is a source of inspiration for her. She is fascinated by masterpieces such as majestic peaks, exquisite meadows, mesmerizing waterways, dense forests, sparkling streams, blooming flowers, crimson, and amber-tinted tumultuous clouds, etc. These fuel her passion for painting. She tries to capture the essence of a scene with the help of different colors and textures. Her work is a constant search for the best way to portray the beauty of landscape.
