Azalea white Painting

Azalea white As an artist inspired by nature, I will always be a student of nature. I am always gathering information, visually and what accumulates in my imagination. I love to let my imagination run wild. I've always wondered if these beautiful Azaleas change color. And it seems like they do. But, I want to observe it, see it for myself, document it, paint it. Every season I see pinks from very dark to light, and almost white. I wanted to find the perfect white Azalea. Very happy and satisfied with my search for it. I thought oils would be a good medium for painting and capturing the very softness of this gorgeous white flower. I hope you feel it too.
