"BLONDIE" Painting

American pop artist Alicia Hayes possesses an extensive creative acumen. She is a self taught artist and began drawing and painting when she was about 5 years old and has been painting ever since. She was deeply influenced by her uncle Tom Ray: an animator who was known for animating Bugs Bunny, Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry and many others. Alicia's inner quest for creative expression took her full circle across America and around the World. Her free spirited nature lead to an exploration of voice-artistry, music, acting, singing, writing, photography, makeup and she was an on-air radio personality in the major markets of Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas. She later went on to enjoy a career in the entertainment industry as a successful makeup artist and has worked with the faces of Steven Spielberg, Larry King, Jeff Bridges, Sofia Milos, Alyssa Milano and many others! ​Alicia's paintings were discovered by the late Jerry Yaker of the Gallerie Michaelangelo at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Yaker purchased the original collection of the series "A PORTRAIT OF MANY WOMEN" which quickly sold out. Alicia has produced paintings for Larry King, R&B singer Howard Hewett and Jack Nicholson. Hayes is the only artist in the world with original paintings signed and endorsed by Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson. ("The Joker" and "Jack") ​The collection of Alicia's "HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS" was launched in March, 2008 at the ArtExpo in New York. These collections were inspired by her work as a celebrity makeup artist, and the glamorous lives of these great Hollywood legends of the past and present. Alicia's most recent exhibition was at the spectacular Regis Gallerie at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas in 2013. ​Currently Alicia continues to paint and has merged all of her talents into the creative process of Filmmaking where she writes, and directs. Each of Alicia's painting have her hand print on the back along with her signature, and her stamp of authenticity. The buyer of each original painting also receives a signed copy of her art book simply titled: Alicia Hayes Her "Marilyn" and "Lucy" have already sold.
