I started my career in advertising after completing my education in Applied arts.Changed course of my career by Founding a path breaking baking confectionery and events company-- Gourmet Street along with my Chef husband , received plaudits from media celebrities like Shobha De, Rashmi Uday Singh and many others in The Times of India ,Mid- Day ,Hindustan Times ,The Afternoon etc; during the course of the 15 year journey Gourmet Street became known for its high end events often catering to the discerning tastes of visiting international celebrities like Bryan Adams, Beyonce, Enrique Inglesias and Roger Waters apart from the gamut of Indian celebrities. I sold the company,to be with my Child and follow my dream to go back to my original love "colours" I set off on a journey of self discovery, through the medium of paint, experimenting by deconstructing emotions and exploring forms that emerge through color and colorscapes.In this series, I have visualised and found Lord Ganesha in His many forms and represented Him by a partial view of his profile,in all his myriad forms. My dance-music-romance inspired- impasto series finds beauty in the imperfections of the human form . The bold play of color -characteristic of my work- is often juxtaposed by a small delicate detail that brings a refreshing view to my artwork. In my series of Abstract Expressionism , emotions and feelings are emphasized with bursting strong colors. In the paintings one can see many stories without seeing it clearly and defined. My art has found it's place in the homes of Private collectors in India and overseas.
