Babine Mountains Aurora Painting

The Babine range is the northern wall of the Bulkley Valley near Smithers, BC. My first attempt to paint the aurora needed a landscape at the bottom, so my fascination with the old log barns came into play, and with a barn there must be fields. Having grown up on a farm, I learned to love snowshoeing with the world lit up by the full moon on snow. Can you see the owl? The original painting was donated to the Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter for a fundraising auction. Prints are available.
