Baby's Breath Painting

Hi! My name is Mary, and I'm a science-based artist. I've traveled around the world, immersing myself in different cultures visiting numerous museums. As a self-proclaimed nerd with a calling to create, I've made it my mission to challenge the perspective of the relationship between science and art. I attended The Art Institute of California - San Francisco where I studied Graphic Design but had an affinity for illustration, fashion design, interior design, and art history. I am currently an Art Teacher in the Oakland School District. I enjoy shaping young minds and encouraging my students to use art as a therapeutic outlet while introducing them to engineering, chemical reactions, and more. On weekends I tour the US showing and selling my Art work.
